Event: Benefit Plant Sale Feb. 27 & 28, 2010

The first Benefit Plant Sale for the year 2010 will be held on Saturday and Sun., Feb. 27 & 28 in the covered parking area on 18th St, behind the Gifted Gardener at 18th & J Streets, midtown Sacramento.  The Hours for both Saturday and Sunday are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Sale will feature a wide range of both fresh bareroot and potted perennials, with well over 200 varieties available, including extra large peony roots, large Gladiola Bulbs, New Sedum varieties, potted daffodils, Hellebores, Pulmonaria, new Heuchera introductions for 2010 and lots of other new, rare and hard to find perennials.

The Plant Sales benefit the children’s programs of Sunburst Projects and are a volunteer effort directed by Mr. Robert Hamm, long-term plant grower and Sunburst Projects volunteer.
